The Challenge

Picture a regional retail and lifestyle group that holds an annual recognition gala for staff from across its businesses. The evening has award presentations, stage moments, table photos and candid shots, and by the end there is a large collection of photos that people would like to keep and share.

A common way to share them is a shared online folder with the link sent by email. It is quick to set up, but it has known limits: the email can land in a spam or corporate filter, and a guest who opens the folder has to scroll through everyone's photos to find their own.

The events team wants a way that reaches every employee, from the warehouse to head office, without asking anyone to install an app or create an account. In plain terms, a group photo sharing app that everyone can use without thinking about it: a QR code and a selfie.

The Solution

Guests reach the event page from a QR code or a link, in their phone's browser. The page opens in English or Arabic, as the organiser sets it. If the organiser asks for it, a guest first confirms their email with a short code.

Photographers upload to the event's albums during and after the evening. When a guest takes a selfie, Eventiere finds the photos they appear in and gathers them into a personal gallery. The gallery holds only that guest's photos, and they can search again later to see anything uploaded since.

When a guest's photos are found, the link can be sent to them by email or WhatsApp. Where the organiser allows downloads, they can save photos straight to their phone, with no app and no account. The organiser stays in control of what is shown: any photo, or any grouped person, can be hidden or removed from the gallery.

What the Organiser Sees

During and after the event, the organiser can see simple counts in the event's analytics: how many guests opened the page, how many searched for their photos, and how many photos were downloaded or shared. They are counts of activity, not lists of names.

For the events team, the difference from a shared folder is that guests no longer sort through a whole album. Each person is shown their own photos, so the usual questions afterwards, such as "I can't find my photos" or "I never got the link", have a simple answer: search again.

Because the gallery is an ordinary web page, staff can also share the photos they like on their own social profiles or internal channels, straight from their phone.
