The idea behind an "I am attending" poster

The phrase describes exactly what a guest is doing: announcing that they are going, in their own words, to their own network. Built here as an attending card for LinkedIn first, because that is where a delegate's own contacts are most likely to see it, and carried through to whatever else guests post on.

The card is your artwork with two things added: the guest's photo and their name. Nothing about it looks borrowed from a generic template, because it is built from the design you already use for the event.

For your event

What it does for you

Your artwork, not a template

Upload your own design for the square and landscape card, and place the photo box and text box where you want them. Every card a guest makes carries your event's own look.

Post text you have already written

Prepare a few lines guests can pick from, or leave the box for them to write their own, so the caption under one of your event social cards sounds like your event rather than a guess.

Speaker and attendee posters, one tool

Whether it is a speaker announcing their session or an attendee simply announcing they are going, speaker and attendee posters both come from the same card.

How it works

Set the artwork once. Guests make their own card.

For organisers

01

Upload your artwork

Add a square design and a landscape design, and place the photo box and text box where you want them to sit.

02

Prepare a few lines to share

Write several short posts guests can choose from, or leave the box open for them to write their own.

03

Share the link

Send guests to the card page from your invitation, confirmation email or event page.

For guests

01

Add a photo

Upload a photo, or take one on the spot.

02

Fill in the details

Add your name, role and company. Both are optional.

03

Share it

Post straight to LinkedIn, copy the caption for wherever else you post, or download the card.

Where it fits

Where a card gets shared before the event ends

Conferences. A speaker announces their session, and a delegate announces they are in the room. Both come from the same card at a conference.

Corporate events. Staff and clients share that they are at a corporate event on your own branding, not a stock template.

Product launches. Guests announce they are at a product launch the moment they arrive, ahead of any official announcement.

Exhibitions and trade shows. Exhibitors and visitors both post that they are on the floor at your exhibition or trade show.

Common questions

What organisers ask about attending cards

What sizes do the cards come in?

Square, for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, and landscape, for LinkedIn, Facebook and X. Both are generated from the same photo and details.

Do we need a designer to set this up?

No. Upload the artwork you already have for the event and place two boxes, one for the photo and one for the name and role. No design tool is needed.

Can guests write their own caption?

Yes. Offer a few lines you have prepared, or leave the option to write their own. Either way, the guest decides what posts under their card.

Is this only for people speaking at the event?

No. Any attendee can make a card, whether they are speaking, exhibiting or simply attending.

Does making a card cost the guest anything?

No. It is free for a guest to make and share a card. Check the pricing page for what your own plan includes.
